Mind Trick - Jamie Cullum(puts you in the mood)
Hello world!(or my world of friends la)
Ok, so a lot of my friends seem to have adopted a 'bah humbug attitude' towards the day we all know and love. That's right, Valentine's Day. But me being the hopeless romantic that I am,(I can just see Tom and Sherilee laughing right now..) I still believe in happy endings and the lovey dovey-ness that people expose themselves to on this sacred day(big words!)
BUT..(the infamous BUT)I think that the market and public in general are milking this whole 'sex sells' boohaha. I mean, come on! Not every guy is wired to think that just cause it's Valentine and they shelled out some cash that their going to get laid. I'm a firm believer that chivalry is NOT dead and that they are some guys who still believe in small gestures(They just seem to be lost somewhere in this colourful world) The reason for my sudden rambling is cause last Friday i went on a much needed sleep over(why call it a sleep over if you don't plan on sleeping?) at Michelle R's house. Thanks again for having me babe! Had fun! Anywho, Saturday morning Fallon and Michelle ambushed me with a trip to Midvalley. What ku-ku??!! I only brought rm20!( i thought we were gonna spend the day helping her mom to cook or whatever. So sue me) So anywho, went to memory lane to get something for her friends boyfriend and almost all the cards there had a dirty/horny joke in them. They was even a mug that had a statement about the side effects of too much sex. One of my friends said "Why don't they just rename it to Sex day or something?" I mean, of all places, Memory Lane! The 1 place you go to to get anything fuzzy and cute! Parents be warned. It's just plan crazy. Some of you,(mainly Brandon) have been asking me what's my idea of a perfect Valentine. I would have to say i would like the whole posh candlelight dinner, maybe some dancing, followed by a fun trip to the playground in your little black dress. Running around in the playground playing tag and maybe some ice cream afterwards sounds nice...But I'd also just love a quite night, just the two of us, enjoying a movie then getting something from him that might not necessarily be expensive, but proves that he's been paying attention to me and to detail. But either one, it all comes down to having fun, being spontaneous and just having loads to laugh about that night.
So that's about it. Also wanna ramble about Anna Nicole Smith but I'll leave that for tomorrow. Oh yea, before I forget..Happy Valentine's Day LSM, Aljer, Kish and especially Nicky Boy(miss you B.B)
Just for you-know-who...
